“I didn’t want to leave!
This was the theme of my stay at Jolo Guest Farm.
I didn’t want to get out of the incredible large comfortable bed.
I didn’t want to get out of the amazing shower, that is so large and great water temp and pressure.
I didn’t want to get up from sitting on the porch watching the sun rise or set or just be, while I sipped my tea or ate lunch etc.
I didn’t want to get up from the welcoming living area and comfortable sofas where I sat with my friends catching up on our news.
I didn’t want to leave.
The view was incredible.
The cottage we stayed at was perfect. It had two very large bedrooms with very large en-suite bathrooms with all the amenities.
Connected by the central living room/dining area/open kitchen.
Then we had a stunning outdoor veranda – to enjoy breakfast or just a cup of coffee while taking in the peaceful view. It was sublime.
The hosts were friendly and helpful, very accommodating, but were also not intrusive. Was a fantastic home away from home stay, however much better, it is what you want your home to be.
Loved exploring the area – that’s when I managed to drag myself away from the cottage.”

“Jolo guesthouse was a very pleasant surprise. We have been scouting the midlands for a few years now, trying to find the perfect weekend getaway, and this ticked all the boxes. It’s quiet, and peaceful, overlooking beautiful farm scenery. There are only 2 units on the property, so it is very private. The cottages are tastefully finished and very comfortable. The central lounge / dining / kitchen is all open plan with a gas fireplace. The 2 en-suite bedrooms have lovely big windows overlooking the view, and the verandah out front is perfect for long leisurely lunches, or sipping sundowners at the end of the day.”

“Jolo Farm is just outside Rosetta, and was close enough to Nottingham Hill road for us to go to different cafes, restaurants and pubs for all our meals. We stayed in a cottage on the farm, and all the rooms had enormous windows and doors opening out onto a gorgeous view of the valley… the only sound around was the odd MOO. The rooms were incredible. The kids were thrilled to have an en-suite bathroom with a shower room!”
